HIVE TV HOW-TO-VIDEO

This was a video Richard and a partner created as part of their content plan for would-be streaming service, HIVE TV. They were tasked with creating several pieces of content for this plan, including two videos, and this was one of them. The goal was to be engaging and informative. They came to the decision to do an instructional video to show the simplest way to simulcast what’s on your desktop or laptop onto your TV.

YGK THRIFT

In the fall of 2021, Richard and a partner were tasked with creating a video for a local non-profit in Kingston. They decided to go with something outside the box in a brand-new thrift store in downtown Kingston called YGK Thrift. The store was a part of the Almost Home charity, which gives families coming to Kingston a place to stay while their younger children are receiving medical care. Proceeds from the store go towards Almost Home. Richard and his partner came up with the below video, which was to be used on social media and at events.

KINGSTON ANIMAL RESCUE

In the fall of 2018,  Richard and a partner were tasked with creating an engaging video for Kingston Animal Rescue. Kingston Animal RFescue's goal is to end the suffering of animals with rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and education. The video was shown at a charity trade show at St. Lawrence  College, where Richard and his partner had a booth set up and had the video playing for people passing by. They were able to raise money to eventually be donated to Kingston Animal Rescue to go towards food and care for the animals.
